At Mauna Loa, the iconic Native Hawaiian Macadamia nut company, I had the privilege of leading their social media strategy during a transformative rebrand in 2021. As the Social Media Manager, I managed both their paid and organic social media channels, orchestrating a seamless fusion of authentic storytelling and strategic engagement. Central to their rebrand was the launch of vegan macadamia nut milk-based ice cream, a testament to their commitment to innovation and inclusivity. Rooted in the rich cultural heritage of the Hawaiian Islands, Mauna Loa's messaging and social presence celebrated diversity and honored Native Hawaiian traditions. Leveraging my expertise, I forged partnerships with BIPOC influencers, uplifting their voices and showcasing the diverse range of Mauna Loa products through engaging social content and creative recipes. Together, we connected with health-conscious and vegan-based communities, amplifying Mauna Loa's presence and fostering meaningful connections with audiences worldwide.
